A new farmer’s market opened last Saturday in Stevensville. Organizer Laura Keane says she already signed up eight out of ten farmers to sell their produce. Proceeds after expenses benefit the Kent Island Heritage Society. The farmer’s market will be open Saturdays 9-noon and located near the historic Cray House. Eventually, Keane hopes to include other diverse vendors selling wine and cheese and gourmet products.
