Eastern Shore Heritage, Inc. is offering local nonprofits and historians the opportunity to attend a free training on how to prepare Network to Freedom Underground Railroad nominations to the National Underground Railroad Network. The Stories of the Chesapeake Heritage Area Network to Freedom Training will be held on Friday, January 30, 2009 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. in Room HEC-110 at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, MD. Speakers will include Sheri Jackson of the National Park Service and Anne Kyle of the Maryland Office of Tourism Development.
