David Bowman of Delaware was sentenced to ten years in prison with all but one year suspended for the beating of Sudlersville resident Robert Clegg nearly a year ago. Clegg was badly beaten after a motorcycle driven by Bowman’s brother rear-ended Clegg’s pickup truck. Two other defendants go on trial in September; the fourth defendant’s case was put on the ‘inactive’ docket.
