June 20: “”Duck Into Summer”” – Aqua Pools and Spas is hosting “”Duck Into Summer”” at its world headquarters in Easton to benefit the James M. Bryan, Jr. “”Building Dreams for Youth”” Foundation – at 6pm.

The $25 purchase of a duck entitles attendees admission to the event, which features cocktails, hors d`oeurves, and fun. The rubber ducks will “”race”” in Aqua’s pool. June 21: 20th Annual Cardboard Boat Races – The fleet of paper & paddles are organized for a fun- filled day on the Strand, Oxford, MD. 9 AM registration with first race beginning at 11 AM. This event benefits Special Olympics. www.somd.org.

 

June 21: Adkins Arboretum Soup ‘n Walks – Be inspired by nature with a walk through woods and meadows led by docents. Learn about the Arboretum’s colorful native plants and you see them in their native habitat.
