Talbot County Events – June 25-30

 

June 25 – 28: Trappe’s Fireman’s Carnival – The Carnival will open Wednesday, June 25 – you may purchase a bracelet and ride all night and be entertained by Old Friends Gospel Group from 7pm to 8:30pm. On Thursday, June 26, you can purchase a bracelet and ride all night and be entertained by The New and Used Bluegrass Band from 6:30 to 8pm. On Friday, June 27, we will hold the Little Miss Trappe Contest at 7pm. On Saturday, June 28, the annual parade will start the carnival off at 6pm, the Miss Trappe Contest will be held at 8pm. June 25 – July 2: Book Sale at St. Michaels Library – Talbot County Free Library, St. Michaels Branch is having a “”27th Anniversary”” book sale to start June 25th at 2pm through July 2.

June 26: Hot Peas And Butter(Duo) – For Kids- $15 / 10:30AM – (*Ticket Needed for Anybody Over 1 Year Old*) Hot peas ‘N Butter, a unique children’s musical group founded on the premise that you can reach kids through music without lowering musical standards, was created in 2000 by Danny Lapidus and Francisco Cotto, both professional musicians in New York City. June 26, 27, 28: Arsenic And Old Lace – The St. Michaels Community Center in collaboration with the Bay Hundred Theatre Company will jointly produce the blockbuster show, Arsenic and Old Lace for performances at Tilghman Elementary school. 410- 745-6073

June 28: Creating A Comic Workshop For Kids – Traces of Us Gallery is offering Creating a Comic: Acting, Photographing and Producing a Comic Strip to take home. June 28: Vintage/Classic Motorcycle Show and Road Challenge – The first vintage/classic motorcycle show and road challenge will be held beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 28 at the Talbot County Community Center in Easton. The event benefits the Shore Regional Breast Cancer Center at the Memorial Hospital at Easton. The road challenge is a timed endurance loop around Talbot County, with first and second place trophies.
