Talbot County Master Gardener

The vision of the the Maryland Master Gardener program is a healthier world through environmental stewardship. If you love gardening, volunteering in your community, learning new things, and helping others, the Master Gardener program may be for you. The Talbot County Master Gardener program is involved in several community demonstration gardens, youth gardening and education, therapeutic gardening with seniors, plant clinics, food gardening, homeowner education, Bay Wise, and much more.

This fall, the Talbot County Extension Office is proud to present it’s 4th Annual Master Gardener Basic Training Class. Classes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am – noon, September 15 – October 29. The week of October 12, classes will meet on Wedesday and Thursday. Most classes will be held at the Talbot County Emergency Management Operations Center located at 605 Port Street, Easton. Registration is $225, which includes a Master Gardner Handbook, several other publications and materials.
