Students in the Talbot Mentors program celebrated Valentine’s Day with residents of Dixon House assisted living facility in Easton. Mentees, mentors and Talbot Mentors staff brought a holiday-themed bingo party to the facility for the seniors. About a dozen residents participated in the fun, with Valentine treats, cards and prizes for all.

Mentee Cly’Deisha Murray, center, called the game, using conversation heart phrases instead of numbers for the specially made bingo cards. Vita Karwoski, left, and Edna Auburger were among the residents who enjoyed the youngsters’ visit.

The Dixon House party is one of many activities sponsored by Talbot Mentors as service learning opportunities for students in the program.
