Route 18, on each side of the Kent Narrows Draw Bridge will be closed to traffic and open to pedestrians during the July 2nd Independence Day Celebration.

Route 18, from Piney Narrows Way in Chester, then across the Kent Narrow Draw Bridge to Kent Narrows Way near the Narrows Restaurant, will be closed to vehicular traffic to enable pedestrians to walk or ride a shuttle bus to the Independence Day Celebration at Chesapeake Exploration Center off Piney Narrows Way, July 2, 2009 (raindate of July 3).

A shuttle bus will continuously make pick-up and drop-off stops at all public parking areas at Kent Narrows and at the Old Outlet Center Parking Lot.
