The 2008-09 United Fund campaign needs your help! In today’s current economic climate, United Fund agencies are financially challenged to help an ever-increasing number of Talbot County residents in need of scarce services who do not have the financial ability to fully fund their needs.

As these needs of our community have continued to grow, donor contributions have become even more critical. The Fund is heartened by the very generous outpouring of the community to-date – from businesses to individuals to those who contribute through payroll deductions at work. But with the UFTC 2008-09 campaign currently $110,000 short of this year’s $500,000 goal, “we really need everyone’s help this year,” said Ann Jacobs Executive Director.

With every penny raised staying right here in Talbot County, contributions will help pay utility bills, provide quality child care, furnish shelter, protect and counsel victims of abuse, and so much more. “Please help us, your local charity, help our 21 participating agencies respond to these local community needs,” Jacobs added.
