Laurie Forster, The Wine Coach®, will host a special event during Ocean City Restaurant Week. Forster will present “Don’t Drink . . . Taste” on October 4 from 5-7pm at the Sunset Room, next to the Ocean City Convention Center on 41st Street. Forster will lead a lively discussion about how to taste wine, rather than just drinking it. Learn about the process professionals use to taste wines, and experience a number of interactive exercises to help truly understand tasting. Sample several distinctly different styles of wine, learn how to describe each, and receive tips on food and wine pairing.
Ocean City Restaurant Week takes place October 5-12, and offers seven nights of delicious dining opportunities. More than a dozen participating beachside restaurants offer special fixed price dinner menus. Three course meals are just $30 and a two course menu for $20 (not including tax, gratuity and alcohol) will also be served. Offerings from regular menus are also available. Diners simply visit their favorite participating restaurants throughout the week to enjoy the special prix fixe menus. Meal passes are not required, but reservations are encouraged.
