Three Historic Talbot Inns Still For Sale

There are still no buyers for three historic Talbot County inns that have been on the market all year. Larry Davis of Benson and Mangold Real Estate says commercial property sales typically take about a year. The Tidewater Inn in Easton, assessed last year at $6.3-million, was listed in January by owner Carl M. Freeman Companies. Two purchase contracts for the Inn at Easton have fallen through, and the asking price recently was reduced. The more than 300-year-old Robert Morris Inn in Oxford has been on the market since last November, and owners Ken and Wendy Gibson recently dropped the price from $3.5-million to $2.95-million.
