Tipson Joins Call For Lowering Campus Drinking Age

Washington College President Baird Tipson has joined more than 120 other college and university presidents in a call for lowering the drinking age to 18. Tipson is on a list that includes the heads of University of Maryland, Towson University and dozens of other schools who believe student drinking is getting out of hand. Their stance is not embraced by organizations like Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
