Triple-A Wants Bay Bridge Single-Span Traffic Restricted

“Triple-A wants two way traffic on the Bay Bridge to be restricted. One year after a fatal truck crash on the bridge, the “”Baltimore Sun”” reports Triple-A Mid Atlantic is again calling for two way traffic to be in effect “”only when absolutely necessary.”” Triple-A spokesperson Ragina Averella says some drivers are frightened by two way traffic. Triple-A also says the Maryland Transportation Authority should find what Triple-A calls “”acceptable barrier separation technology”” for the bridge. Triple-A is praising eastbound span safety improvements on the parapet made since the accident.
