Two Kent Island High School freshmen were suspended and face being expelled after one of the assistant principals confiscated a pellet gun from the two boys. A 15-year-old from Stevensville and a 14-year-old from Chester admitted having the weapon in their possession at points during the day, but at the same time denied owning the gun. It was not loaded when Assistant Principal Brad Engel took it from them. The boys were arrested then released to their parents.
