Uline has once again joined the Waterfowl Festival as a major Corporate Partner. The nationwide distributor of shipping, industrial and packing materials is supporting the 2008 event at the $10,000 level. This is its fourth year of participation in the program. In addition to its financial support, Uline is also contributing merchandise bags to the event.
The participation of the Festival’s Corporate Partners helps offset the increasing costs of staging the show, allowing more of the event’s proceeds to go towards the nonprofit organization’s conservation mission. Since its beginning, the Waterfowl Festival has invested more than $5 million in conservation and environmental education projects benefiting the Chesapeake Bay area and Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
This year, more than 40 businesses are participating in the Corporate Partner Program at levels ranging from $1,500 to more than $10,000.
Festival President Albert Pritchett thanked Uline and all the Corporate Partners for their support. “We could not stage such a high-quality event each year without the help of these businesses,” he said. “They are truly partners with us both in putting on the show and in continuing our efforts on behalf of the wildlife and environment.”
The 2008 Waterfowl Festival will be held in Easton November 14, 15 & 16. For more information, to volunteer or to make a donation, contact the Waterfowl Festival office at 410-822-4567 or visit its website, www.waterfowlfestival.org.
