Each artist in the Plein Air–Easton! national competition will receive a free set of handcrafted oil colors from Vasari Classic Artists’ Oil Colors. Visari keeps alive the Old World tradition of the color merchant hand grinding paints. Paints are handcrafted without drying agents or other additives for extraordinary color, purity, consistency and mixing. Truly a painters paint, the resulting product has a buttery texture in a wide palette of rich colors. 

Visari will host a sales event throughout the festival, with products for sale to any artist from Monday, July 21 to Thursday, July 26 at Troika Gallery, 9 S. Harrison St. More than 90 colors will be available for purchase in the 40ml size, plus large tubes of white shades. Solvent and medium will also be for sale, along with an assortment of linseed oils and varnish. All items will be at special sale pricing for the Plein Air-Easton event. Palettes and testers will be available for every color Vasari makes, to demonstrate the colors and for artists to experience color strength, consistency and authenticity. Representatives from Vasari will be available to answer technical questions relating to the materials and techniques of oil painting based on the company’s 35+ years of color expertise.
