Licensed acupuncturist Elizabeth Verplank, L.Ac. (NCCAOM), is now practicing in Easton at the Center for Integrative Medicine, an affiliate of Shore Health System.

Verplank is a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a degree in medical technology. She earned a masters degree in Oriental Medicine from the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida. She is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

In addition to her practice with individuals, Verplank offers a group acupuncture clinic at the Center for Integrative Medicine. Verplank explains, “Patients come together in small groups in a quiet environment that is conducive to relaxation. It’s easy for friends and family members to come in for treatment together. Many patients find the group setting comforting.”

The Center for Integrative Medicine is located at 607-B Dutchman’s Lane in Easton. In addition to acupuncture, the center offers massage therapy and private yoga and Tai Chi lessons.
