Wanted Subject

“The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office is asking the media and public to assist in locating a wanted person. Sheriff Gery Hofmann stated “”the media has recently led to the capture of several wanted persons by the Sheriff’s Office. In other cases, just the pressure created by local news has forced several others to turn them selves in””.

The subject wanted is Thomas Edward Johnson Jr. aka: TJ. who failed to appear in Court on November 24th on charges of Assault, Armed Robbery, and Theft. These charges stem from the violent attack of a skateboarder in Grasonville which sent the victim to Shock Trauma. Johnson was arrested on these charges on October 30th but was released after family posted his bail.

Johnson is an African-American male, 19 years old, 5’07″” and 130 pounds and has addresses in Grasonville and Glen Burnie areas.

Johnson also has additional warrants for violation of probation in previous cases of Trespassing, Drugs and Armed Robbery. There is another warrant for failure to appear in Circuit Court on November 5th on Burglary charges.

Johnson should be considered armed and dangerous and citizens are warned not to attempt to take him into custody themselves if he is located.
