Watercolors for Dummies with Sally Clark

If you’ve ever wanted to paint in watercolors but were too afraid too try, this 6 session class is for you. Or, if you have painted in the past, but would like a refresher course, you will want to join innovative artist Sally Clark at the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council’s Centre for the Arts for this stress-free watercolor class beginning Wednesday, September 17-October 22 from 9 am-12 pm. Students will explore the color wheel, watercolor techniques, and color properties. Each class will have a specific goal followed by a painting exercise.

Clark is a former art educator who now works as a full-time artist. Her watercolors and whimsical designs on furniture are on display in several galleries and held in private collections. She is co-owner of L’atelier Gallery in Chestertown, MD. A list of required materials will be provided upon registration. The registration deadline is September 10.
