Acting Kent County School Superintendent Barbara Wheeler is in the midst of negotiating her contract with the Kent County Board of Education. The Board unanimously approved extending the offer to Wheeler. Wheeler began running the board after Anthony Pack quit two years into a four-year contract and moved back to the south.
