Women Supporting Women of the Mid-Shore Announce New Facilitator

Women Supporting Women of the Mid-Shore has announced a new facilitator for their Cambridge breast cancer support meetings.

Sue Todd will be leading the group and providing individual support to women of Dorchester County. Sue is an LCSW, working at the Dorchester Co. Dept. of Social Services for over 25 years. WSW is honored to have Sue join their organization and provide support to the women of the mid-shore community.

Women Supporting Women, a 501c3 which began in Salisbury, has been hosting monthly support meetings for over two years in the mid-shore region. They also provide phone counseling, information tote bags, comfort pillows, a lending library and other comfort items for those going through breast cancer treatment and beyond. All services and products are provided at no cost to survivors. The organization supports its efforts through fundraising events, business sponsorships, grants and donations. Monthly meetings are currently available in Cambridge and Easton. TheCambridge group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month, at the Christ Episcopal Church at 601 Church St., next to the post office.
