Shore Health System’s Center for Integrative Medicine is offering a two-session workshop designed to teach participants the nuts and bolts of positive thinking. Anne Pogue, LMT, MA, will lead “The Potential of Positive Thinking” on Saturday, September 19 and 26, 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the Center for Integrative Medicine, 607-B Dutchman’s Lane in Easton.
“Many of us have an idea of what positive thinking is, but don’t really understand how to use our thoughts effectively as a tool to create the life we want,” says Pogue, a certified massage therapist, foot reflexologist, Hatha Yoga instructor and positive lifestyle coach. “Our habitual thinking is often shadowed by fear, worry and doubt, which sabotage our best intentions. In the workshop, participants will learn that positive thinking is not unrealistic or naïve, but a choice that empowers us to live life fully.”
Participants will identify the nature of habitual thinking, understand how life circumstances are a reflection of thought and learn the skill of conscious thought.
The cost of the program is $45. To register, call the Center for Integrative Medicine at 410-770-9400.
