I hope that this email finds you safe and well. As we stand to face this unprecedented global health crisis, we are all learning to navigate the ever-changing adjustments, sacrifices, and restrictions that come with it.
At Compass Regional Hospice, it is imperative that we continue to provide critical services, while protecting the health and well-being of our patients, caregivers, volunteers, and staff. Their safety and support is a responsibility that we do not take lightly, and will continue to fulfill.
Our clinical care team continues to serve our patients at both our Centreville and Chestertown Hospice Centers, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, and in our patients’ homes. We have educated our staff and clients based on the protocols put forth by the CDC and the Maryland Department of Health.
We also recognize that this can be an isolating time for all, and our bereavement team and social workers continue to provide emotional and psychosocial support to those struggling with grief and maintaining their mental health.
I am so honored to work with our dedicated staff who are selflessly on the front lines, caring for some of our communities’ most vulnerable. And I am so grateful to you for your continued dedication to our mission as we all learn to navigate this new normal.
