Hip and Knee Pain? How to Get Relief

Description: A free class designed for people who need help managing their joint pain. This one-hour program covers basics of arthritis and options to get relief from pain. Taught by one of the program coordinators from AAMC’s Joint Center, a national role model for excellence in joint replacement. During the small group session, participants have plenty of time to ask questions and get answers to their questions. As part of the session, appointments with AAMC joint surgeons can also be arranged.

Lose Weight and Soar to Better Health: Learn About Weight Loss Solutions Seminar

Description: This is a free seminar designed for people who are obese by 100 pounds or more and who want to learn about surgical weight loss options. In this seminar, Dr. Alex Gandsas, an expert bariatric surgeon who has performed 2,200 bariatric procedures, will describe three different options for surgical weight loss, the process involved and what is required before, during and after surgery. During this small group session, you will have plenty of time to ask questions and get answers about the procedure, and also make an appointment with Dr. Gandsas.

Young Women’s Cardiac Support Group

Annapolis Stroke Club

Heartsaver AED
