AAUW Bus Trip to Cirque Le Masque

The AAUW (American Association of University Women) is sponsoring a bus trip to the Cirque Le Masque at the Dupont Theater in Wilmington, DE. with luncheon at the five star restaurant at the Green Room on March 27, 2010.  If you can’t get to Las Vegas this winter, this your opportunty to see a truy amazing show.

Spectacle is the word that comes to mind as Cirque Le Masque reinvents the world of entertainment with amazing acrobatics, colorful costumes, an amazing display of theatrical artistry, comic audience interaction, captivating music and exciting physical feats. In their newest production Carnivale, the troupe redefines the Cirque experience with feats of unmatched energy and skill.  This innovative show pays tribute to the time-honored traditions of European Cirque troupes and unveils its artistry through sophisticated entertainment acts from around the world. Seemingly oblivious to the forces of gravity, the performers swing, fly, bend and balance like dancers—dancing on air rather than the stage. This stylish and energetic explosion of sight, sound, imagination and beauty is truly spellbinding.  Cirque Le Masque has achieved the perfect blend of live theatrical entertainment and cutting edge special effects that is pleasing and exciting to audiences of all ages.

A bus will leave the parking lot at Auora St and Creamery Lane (location of the firehouse) at 9:00 AM and return at 4:00 PM.  Cost for the day is $120 which includes bus, tickets to the Cirque Le Masque, and luncheon at the Green Room.  Far more information and reservations , call Lois Krum at 410-673-7794 or e-mail her at leahrose@hughes.net.  The event benefits the Easton Branch AAUW Mature Woman’s Grant and is open to the public
