Adkins Arboretum’s Magic in the Meadow Fundraising Event Set for Sept. 18

Under the leadership of event co-chairs Alicia Siegrist and Luther Tucker, the committee for Adkins Arboretum’s Magic in the Meadow, A Twilight Cabaret has set the date for this year’s signature fundraising event for Sat., Sept. 18. Guests will gather under a tent, set in the meadow of the 400-acre native garden and preserve in Ridgely, Md., where they will be treated to cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, tapas small plates, silent and live auctions, and live music and dancing featuring pianist Stef Scaggiari and vocalist Dan Saunders. Adkins Arboretum is a 400-acre native garden and preserve at the headwaters of Tuckahoe Creek in Caroline County. Open year round, the Arboretum offers educational programs for all ages about nature and gardening.
