Join us at Shore Kids on April 29 from 11am-2pm at Kent Island High School and make one of your first stops at the Chesapeake Cats and Dogs table where you can meet some of their pets looking for forever homes and adopt a mini-furry stuffed animal friend and complete an adoption certificate for a $5 donation.
The Shore Update is donating the mini-stuffed pets and adoption certificates, and all money collected benefits Chesapeake Cats and Dogs and the work that they do. “We have always enjoyed working with Chesapeake Cats and Dogs,” says Shore Update owner Cheri Hoffman. “We wanted to help their cause and provide a fun activity for Shore Kids. So we came up with the idea of ‘pretend’ adoptions and donated all the supplies needed.”
