Alleged BB&T Robber Arrested in Florida

U.S. Marshals arrested a Queen Anne’s County man in Florida on charges that include armed robbery of the Chestertown branch of BB&T Bank in January. Brian Danielle Taylor, 38 of Centreville also is charged with robbery, second-degree assault and theft between $1,000 and $10,000. Taylor is being held in jail without bail pending an extradition hearing. If he waives extradition, he will be brought to Kent County, according to Chestertown Acting Police Chief William H. Dwyer. Dwyer said police early in the investigation identified Taylor as a suspect in the Januar 19 robbery of the bank at 501 Washington Avenue. Police found Taylor in Pensacola after learning that his girlfriend had family in the area. Taylor went to Florida soon after the robbery, according to Dwyer, and was arrested at his job.
