Mr. Bruce McPherson, AB3AC and AAT3TW, will present a talk on Amateur Radio High Speed Multimedia (HSMM-MESH™) at the Queen Anne’s Amateur Radio Club (QAARC) meeting on Tuesday, May 1 at 6 p.m. HSMM-MESH™ is currently being designed, developed, and deployed as an amateur radio broadband communications system. Radio amateurs as well as the public are invited to hear the presentation at the Queen Anne’s County Free Library, 121 S. Commerce St., Centreville.
HSMM-MESH™ is a high speed, self discovering, self configuring, fault tolerant, wireless computer network that can run for days from a fully charged car battery, or indefinitely with the addition of a modest solar array or other supplemental power source. The focus is on emergency communications. http://hsmm-mesh.org/
