ARF is holding their 6th annual Crab Feast Fundraiser and Football Party at the Kent Island Yacht Club under the Pavilion and on the patio in Chester on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. There will be a large screen TV on the patio televising the Raven’s and Pittsburgh game so not only can you eat crabs you can watch football and cheer for your favorite team! Dress as your favorite NFL player as there will be a prize for the best costume and not only that there will be football raffles as well!

This year we are having live music by Steve McCoy, all you can eat crabs and corn-on-the cob provided by J.R. Thomas Seafood and pulled pork and salads provided by the Kent Island Yacht Club. There will also be Beer, soda and desserts. Advance tickets for adults are $45.00, ($50.00 at the door), children 6-12 years old, $20.00 in advance, ($25.00 at the door) and children under 6 years old are free. All proceeds go to help our homeless pets. There will be a 50/50, great silent auction items and door prizes.

This event is not only a great opportunity for everyone to have a fun and a memorable day, but also to help the less fortunate pets that have gotten lost or do not have a loving guardian of their own. Adoptable pets will also be attending, in hopes of finding a new home.
