WHY: Typically, hospitals offer health education in a stuffy setting with powerpoints and medical jargon. AAMC docsTALKwill take complex topics and break them down to easy conversation.

Playing on the popularity of shows like The Doctors and Dr. Oz, the series will offer the same type of medical expertise as those popular broadcasts, on a local, monthly basis, taking complex conversations from the operating room into a living room setting.

WHO: The show is hosted by physicians Dr. Briana Walton and Dr. John Martin.

Dr. Walton is the director of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the AAMC Women’s Center for Pelvic Health.

Dr. Martin is the Medical Director of the Heart and Vascular Institute.
