Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

Interfaith Service Planners 2009 3x4BW (400 x 288)Talbot Association of Clergy and Laity will hold its annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service at 7:00 o’clock p.m. Sunday, November 22 at Temple B’nai Israel.

At a time that for some of us may be an economic struggle, all comers from our diverse community are welcome to participate at the Interfaith Thanksgiving Service to give thanks together for the spiritual bounty we enjoy.
Greetings, prayers, reflections and blessings will be shared among us. Musical selections will include traditional hymns, ancient folk music and antiphonal chant, Duke Ellington’s “Come Sunday,” gospel hymns, and a Native American chant.

Officiants, in addition to host Rabbi Peter Hyman, will include Rev. Gabriel Parks of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Easton, Eyber Cruz of Palabra Miel Spanish Language Church,The Right Reverend Joel Marcus Johnson of St. Andrews Anglican Church, Reverend Timothy Jahn of Grace Lutheran Church, Pastor John Moore of Riverside Charge United Methodist Church, The Reverend Charles Walthal of All Faith Chapel at Tunis Mills and Dr. Terry Stackpole, Deacon of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington D.C.
