Another Hat in Ring for 1-D

An Eastern Shore businessman released an advertisement about his plans to run in the Republican primary for Maryland’s 1st District congressional seat. Rob Fisher is a Salisbury native who currently heads Secure Infrastructure Solutions Corporation, a cyber security company that has an office in Cambridge as well as two offices in the Washington, D.C. area. Fisher describes himself in the ad as a conservative businessman, and he underscores that he is not a career politician. He also says he will stop reckless spending in Washington. Fisher will go up against state Senator Andrew Harris, who won the Republican nomination in the last election. Harris ended up losing in a very close race to Rep. Frank Kratovil, D-MD.
