The Character Counts! Advisory Council is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2012 Faye Lister Teen of Character Scholarship. This $500 scholarship, made possible through the Centreville Rotary, is available to any high school senior who resides in Queen Anne’s County and exemplifies the Six Pillars of Character – Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, & Citizenship.

Anyone may nominate a student for this scholarship, including the students themselves. Applications can be found at www.peopleofcharacter.org or at the Character Counts! Office at 104 Powell Street in Centreville.
