Artisans and crafters with original work for sale are sought for the 48th Annual Artisans Festival to be held on Saturday, October 5th from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday, October 6th from 11 am to 4 pm at Chesapeake College, Wye Mills.  The College is located at the intersection of Routes 213 and 50.

A sliding scale for 10×10 spaces is being used: Health Professionals Building – Indoor Space 10×10 (both days) $110.00, electric $10.00, Caroline Center – Indoor Space 8×5 both days $80.00, Outside no cover both days $60.00, Outside one day, $40.00.   All spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis.  Space is also available for food vendors.

Over 50 artists from throughout the Delmarva Peninsula will be exhibiting a wide range of talents.  Included in the original offerings are paintings, pottery, basketry, stained glass, wood carving, jewelry, photography and much more.

Admittance to the college is free but donations at the entrance are welcomed. Any proceeds from this community event support local youth scholarships, operation of the regional shelter for victims of domestic violence, participation in the Rotary worldwide project to eradicate polio and Lifetime Wells International, a clean water project in Africa.
