Artisans and crafters with original work for sale are sought for the 42nd Annual Artisans Festival to be held on Saturday, October 5th from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday, October 6th from 11 am to 4 pm at the Queen Anne’s County 4H Park. The park is located on Route 18, four miles west of Centerville.

A sliding scale for 10×10 spaces is being used: $95.00 inside building, $85.00 outside under pavilion, and $70 outside no cover. All spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis. Space is also available for food vendors and non-profit organizations.

Over 70 artists from throughout the Delmarva Peninsula will be exhibiting a wide range of talents and treasures. Included in the original offerings are paintings, pottery, basketry, stained glass, wood carving, jewelry, photography and much more. Along with beautiful artwork for all to enjoy, musical entertainment will be available. The Jones Boys will perform on Sunday from 12-2 pm. They are known for their country music and entertain regularly at venues across the Eastern Shore.

Children’s activities, good food and musical entertainment make for a fun and rewarding day for all ages. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed. All proceeds go to worthwhile charities, including youth scholarships, operation of the regional shelter for victims of domestic violence, participation in the Rotary worldwide project to eradicate polio and support for Lifetime Wells for Ghana.
