Artists Application Deadline for Handmade from the Heart Extended

Artists who live on Maryland’s Eastern Shore or have taken part in past Handmade from the Heart shows are invited to apply to Evergreen Cove’s 11th annual gift and art sale, to be held on December 2 and 3, 2011 at The Historical Society of Talbot County Auditorium.

The application form will be available at or by request at 410-819-3395.  The deadline for receipt of applications has been extended to July 1, 2011.

Handmade from the Heart combines fundraising with a celebration of local artists, including popular past artists and highlighting new artists. The show features handmade items such as jewelry, pottery or ceramics, textiles, stained glass, woodwork, works on paper, metals, and mixed media.

Evergreen Cove is a nonprofit organization founded in 1993, and is the first holistic learning center on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Located in Easton on Easton Point at 770 Port Street, it offers innovative programs, services, and resources for personal growth and wellness.
