Artists Transform Park Into Outdoor Gallery

The Arts and Entertainment Committee will host the Third Annual Art in the Park in downtown historic Stevensville, Maryland on June 18, 2011. Tucked away between Love Point Rd and Cockey Lane, ‘Pocket Park’ will again be transformed into a dazzling display of artistic mastery.

Local and visiting artists will show off their latest original creations including paintings, prints, photography, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, books, clothes and more. Local shops, galleries, restaurants, and historic sites will be open to the public in addition to music and various food vendors. Come experience the local color and flavor along with the fabulous history and heritage of the area.

All fees and donations will go to the development of the Arts and Entertainment District in Stevensville, a non-profit  (501c3) organization. Stevensville is a partner of ‘The String of Pearls’, a collaboration of the Arts Districts of Queen Annes County. Booth and vendor applications are currently being accepted.  Please call 410-604-2224 or 410-643-9075 for  information  and submissions.
