September 17 – October 22: Members’ Best Exhibit: This unique fiber art exhibit features creations by member artists Nancy Covert, Stephanie Nadolski, Martin Owino, Hallie Rogers Rugg, Bronwen Sexton and Wende Woodham. The Centre for the Arts holds Members’ Best shows throughout the year. Member artists can request to be in an exhibit individually, or if they have an idea for a collective show, suggestions are welcomed. 206 S. September 17 – November 5: Musical Theatre Camp, ages 5-12 Saturday, 10:15-11:15 a.m. Students will sing, dance, act, and create their own costumes with a Disney theme. Parents and the community will be delighted with the students’ final performance. Educator, actress, director and model, Tamika Hall is a graduate of Washington College with a degree in Theatre. November 12: Tribal Bangle Bracelets, ages 14+ Saturday, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Make a faux bone, ivory or wood tribal pattern bracelet with easy to use oven baked clay and simple tools. Texture and embellish your work with beads, wire, small shells or stones, and paints to achieve an antiqued or ancient weathered look. The resulting bracelets are lightweight and beautiful.
