June 27 – August 29: Beginning and Intermediate Oil Painting, ages 16+: Monday, 6:30-9 p.m. Create an original oil painting that will last forever. In this 9 week course, popular instructor and award winning artist Tina Williams teaches the use and application of oil paints as well as mixing colors and highlights with this medium. July 5 – 29: Musical Theatre Camp ages 3-5: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.: Students will sing, dance, learn some Spanish and create their own costumes with a Dora the Explorer/Go Diego Go theme. Parents and the community will be wowed with a final performance. Educator, actress, director and model, Tamika Hall is a graduate of Washington College with a degree in Theatre. She is the founder of Mikatoure Academy of Modeling and the Performing Arts (www.mikatoure.com) and held the title Mrs. Maryland Essence 2010. Monday through Friday, four weeks. Instructor Tamika Hall, held the title of Mrs. Maryland Essence 2010 and is the founder of Mikatoure Academy of Modeling and the Performing Arts (www.mikatoure.com). Her modeling and teaching experience are the hallmarks of her interest in teaching character development through self esteem building activities. Poise and confidence are also incorporated through teaching runway techniques. The class culminates in a fashion show. Monday through Friday, four weeks.
