April 23:  Panel Discussion, Reception and Exhibit – “Catching Shadows: Tintype Portraits and Recorded Voices of 21st Century Native Americans Living on Maryland’s Eastern Shore” 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. panel discussion with photographer Anne Nielsen, oral historian Marc A. Dykeman and members (TBA) of the Nause Waiwash, Accohannock, Pocomoke and Assateague tribes. This fascinating portrait study of contemporary American Indians using traditional tintype photography includes interviews by Dykeman that explore tribal traditions and everyday life. This is the launch
