Craig Atwood of Easton, MD, has joined the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM) as director of finance. Atwood’s responsibilities include monthly accounting and reporting of revenues, expenditures and fixed asset transactions; maintenance of insurance coverage; and support for preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.

Atwood brings 27 years of experience in accounting and management to the position and holds a BS degree in accounting from Towson University. He is currently a member of the Mid-Shore Community Band.

Through educational, cultural and interactive exhibits and activities, CBMM celebrates the connections between the Bay and its people. The museum’s waterfront campus includes twelve exhibit buildings along the Miles River and St. Michaels Harbor.
