Avery Hall Benefit Solutions is pleased to announce that two of its employees, Cindy Whaley, President, Avery Hall Benefit Solutions in Easton, and Susan Brown, Senior Account Executive at Avery Hall Benefit Solutions in Salisbury, have been selected among 70 statewide brokers to serve on the 16-member Maryland Producer Advisory Council for the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange (MHBE). The purpose of the Producer Advisory Council is to identify and develop best practices as the MHBE plans its policies, procedures, communication strategies and marketing tools for producers to help individuals and small businesses get access to plans offered on Maryland Health Connection. Both Whaley and Brown will serve two-year terms in order to provide consistency in input for open enrollment 2013 and throughout the 2014 benefit year.
Whaley, president of Avery Hall Benefit Solutions, comments, “This Council’s role is an extension of what we do every day with our clients, helping them to better understand the changes involved in Health Care Reform and to access the best options available on the market.”
