Bay Area Association of Realtors Recognized for Support of Emergency Center

The University of Maryland Memorial Hospital Foundation recently presented a plaque to the Bay Area Association of Realtors for their $5000 Extra Large Blue Crab Sponsorship of last year’s “Claws for a Cause” event, a crab feast benefiting University of Maryland Shore Emergency Center at Queenstown.  Pictured are members of the Bay Area Association of Realtors’ Board of Directors, (from left to right) Karen Kilhefer, Liz Green, Jennifer Norfolk, Mike Shanley, Merry Tobin, Doug Ashley, Norma Coursey, Michelle Abplanalp, MJ Stevens, Diana Carlson, Sue Hitt and Nic Gills.  DJ Dauses was not available at the time of the photo.   This year’s “Claws for a Cause” event will be held on Thursday, June 26 at Fisherman’s Crab Deck, the proceeds from which will help purchase an emergency generator for the Emergency Center.  For sponsorship or ticket information, contact Joanna Pierce at 410-822-1000, ext. 5481 or jpierce@shorehealth.org.
