Brian and Kim Billick hosted a fundraiser to help reach the $1 million goal set by members of the community who are raising money for equipment that will be used at the Queen Anne’s Emergency Center. The Billicks opened their Queenstown home to the capital campaign committee, whose guests came from around the Mid-Shore region to enjoy refreshments and to learn how the new emergency medical facility will benefit the community.
The Queen Anne’s Emergency Center is located at 115 Shoreway Drive at Nesbit Road and eastbound US Rt. 50 in Grasonville. When the center opens on Monday, October 4, physicians and nurses trained in emergency medicine will be available to provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Queen Anne’s Emergency Center will also be equipped for radiology and laboratory testing that is required to diagnose and treat any kind of medical emergency.
