Book Binding Workshop with Hanna Kingsley

image003Instructor Hanna Kingsley returns to the Arts Council to offer “Book Binding”, a fascinating workshop where students learn techniques to create their own book including cover design, trim and paper folds. Students choose from a garden or good thoughts theme which will guide them in creating an individualized book that reflects their personality. This workshop gives learners the opportunity to chronicle their interests, hopes and goals or just have whimsical fun.

“Book Binding” is a one day workshop on Saturday, June 15 from 11 am to 4 pm with an hour break for lunch. The class is open to ages 12 and up. Cost is $35 for members and $50 for non-members and there is a $5 additional fee for materials payable to the instructor on the first day of class. Registered students will receive a materials list. The deadline for registration is 6/8.

Hanna Kingsley is a Certified Copic Marker designer and instructor. She was a recipient of the 2011 Arts Council scholarship award and studies art therapy at Chesapeake College. In the fall she will attend the Delaware College of Art and Design.
