Paula’s Fine Jewelry on Kent Island has once again donated one of four high value pieces of jewelry to be raffled to just 100 ticket holders at the Bosom Buddies Ball on January 21st. The appraised value of the pieces range from $4,000 to $9,850. Proceeds from the raffle and the Ball will benefit Bosom Buddies Charities .
Pieces can be viewed and purchased at the jewelry store located at 1607 Postal Road in Chester. Tickets are priced at $100 each and can also be purchased at Rustico Restaurant and Club One.
The pieces included in the raffle are an 18 karat gold diamond ring valued at $4,000, a 14 karat gold diamond necklace valued at $9,850, a 14 karat gold heart shaped pendant valued at $8,600 and a pair of 18 karat white gold earrings valued at $6,150. The lucky winner will choose their favorite piece and do not need to be present to win.
Paula Warner has been a generous contributor to Bosom Buddies Charities in the past and is now a member of the committee for the 2012 Ball. Committee co-chair, Biana Arentz says, “Paula has always been a supporter of Bosom Buddies and we are thrilled that she is once again donating one of these valuable pieces for our raffle”.
Paula Warner, owner of Paula’s Fine Jewelry, is this year’s winner of the Public Service Award for Excellence in Business awarded by the Queen Anne’s County Chamber of Commerce. Her shop has been offering fine jewelry on Kent Island since 1987 and has been named the Best of the Eastern Shore each year since 2008. Last year the winner of the Jewelry Raffle won a 1.5 Karat diamond pendant from Paula’s shop appraised at over $10,000.
In the past five years Bosom Buddies Charities has raised over $1 million for breast cancer. The annual Bosom Buddies Ball includes a delicious meal, a top-notch band and lots of dancing at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Tickets for the ball are available at www.bosombuddiescharities.com.
