Bosom Buddies Charities is accepting applications for its 2015 scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded to Queen Anne’s County graduating high school seniors or high school graduates who plan to pursue an academic collegiate degree in a medical or medical-related studies program.
The intent of this scholarship is to acknowledge and reward students who intend to pursue an academic education leading to a profession in a medical field that preferably relates to diagnostics, treatment, or research of breast cancer. In 2008, the Eugenia Teodoli Education Trust donated matching funds to Bosom Buddies Charities to establish a scholarship account. To date, $80,000 in scholarship awards have been given to students to help with their college expenses.
The scholarship application can be downloaded from the organization’s website (BosomBuddiesCharities.com). The deadline for submission is April 15, 2015.
Bosom Buddies Charities is a local 501(c)(3) non–profit organization whose mission is to promote breast cancer awareness, encourage early detection, support treatment, and celebrate healing.
