BosomBuddiesBosom Buddies Gift Funds Hospice Care for Breast Cancer Patients

Bosom Buddies Charities continued an annual tradition of making a donation to Compass Regional Hospice.  The 2016 donation of $5,000 covers the expenses associated with providing care for breast cancer patients cared for by Compass Regional Hospice, the sole provider of hospice care in Queen Anne’s, Kent and Caroline Counties.

Heather Guerieri, executive director for Compass Regional Hospice, says, “This donation from Bosom Buddies helps us cover the cost of care for breast cancer patients who need our services as they near the end of life. This and other generous donations from the community make it possible for us to provide health care services regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.”

Biana Arentz, chair of the board of Bosom Buddies Charities, says, “Compass Regional Hospice has been there for friends of Bosom Buddies and their families.  Our donation is in their honor.  We appreciate all that hospice does for breast cancer patients and for our community”.
