Bosom Buddies Rocks On the Chesapeake

On Saturday, September 7th Bosom Buddies Charities will present an exciting musical event including star saxophonist Mark Rivera and famous rock band, “Misspent Youth”.

An evening of dancing under the stars will include specialty dishes from favorite local restaurants, cocktails, wine and beer and an exceptional live auction. All proceeds will benefit Bosom Buddies Charities. Susan Ponchock, the founder of Bosom Buddies Charities, and her husband John will host the casual evening of food and fun at their home on the Bay in Stevensville.

Saxophonist Mark Rivera joined the Billy Joel Band in 1982 and continues a 29 year association with Billy. He was also Ringo Star’s musical director and has performed with Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and many more. The rock band, “Misspent Youth” is considered the best party band in Maryland and Northern Virginia. They perform danceable rock from current hits to the classics.

Bosom Buddies Charities Chair, Biana Arentz, notes this is the first of two charity events to be held this September. On September 16th their annual golf tournament will be held at Prospect Bay Country Club. “We are so grateful for the support of our community in our fight against breast cancer”.

The charity is a local Queen Anne’s organization whose mission is to promote breast cancer awareness, encourage early detection, support treatment and celebrate healing.

Tickets for the September 7th event and information about the golf tournament are available at BosomBuddiesCharities.com or contact Biana Arentz at 410-490-0332.
